StatBroadcast inks league-wide live stats deal with National Pro Fastpitch

HERMITAGE, TENN. -- National Pro Fastpitch reached terms with StatBroadcast today on a league-wide agreement to provide live stats for all five teams in its 120-game regular season and the playoffs for the 2015 season. NPF is the first professional sports league to sign a league-wide deal with StatBroadcast.

National Pro Fastpitch is the only professional women's softball league in the United States. The NPF played its first season in 2004 and will field five teams for 2015. The NPF was originally founded as the Women's Pro Softball League in 1997 and ceased operations in 2001 before returning as the NPF in 2004. The NPF has also signed an agreement with the CBS Sports Network to air the 2015 NPF College Draft and eight weeks of prime time regular season games, the divisional semifinals and the championship series. NPF is the Official Development Partner of Major League Baseball in the category of women’s fastpitch softball since 2002.
