University of Alabama to use StatMonitr in 2013-14

TUSCALOOSA, ALA. -- StatBroadcast Systems announced today that the University of Alabama will use the StatMonitr media stats system for its home athletic events in 2013-14.

The University of Alabama is a public institution located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, that was founded in 1831. It is the flagship of the University of Alabama System and is the largest university in the state with an enrollment of 33,602. The Alabama Crimson Tide are members of the Southeastern Conference of NCAA Division I. The Crimson Tide football program is the most decorated program in NCAA history, with 15 national titles to its name, the most of any current FBS program. The Tide are back-to-back defending national champions and have won three of the last four BCS titles. Between 2012 and 2013, the Crimson Tide athletic department won national champions in five team sports: football, men's golf, women's gymnastics, softball and women's golf.

Alabama is the tenth member of the Southeastern Conference to partner with StatBroadcast and the fifth institution from the state of Alabama.
